The Canberra Carotel Motel and Caravan Park is situated on a 20 acre rural setting on the corner of Aspinall & Zelling Street, seven (7) kilometres north of the city off the Federal Highway at Watson. (see our location map)

All rooms are ground level, with the exception of the villas. All linen is provided to rooms and ample on-site car and coach parking is provided.

Facilities and Amenities

Our on-site facilities include a fully licensed shop, free gas barbecues, laundry, volley ball, basketball hoop, outdoor salt swimming pool with wading pool. Our pool closes at 9.00pm daily and is closed during the off season. We also offer tourist information at reception, and we have a caretaker on site.

Reception Hours

Open seven days a week (excluding Christmas Day).
Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 9.00pm
Saturday - Sunday, 7.00am - 8.00pm

Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, EFTPOS, American Express, Diners Club, Motorcharge, money orders and cheques (with suitable identification). Surcharges may apply when using credit cards

Bungalow Information

Our bungalows cater for all different size groups, accommodating from one to ten persons. We have three different sizes of bungalows available - small, family and large. All linen is provided.

All bungalows have an ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities. Large bungalows also have breakfast making facilities and microwaves.

All bungalows are non smoking

Family Cabin Information

Our family cabins are spacious rooms, accommodating from one to ten persons. We have two different sizes of family cabins available - small and large. All linen is provided.

All family cabins have an ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, colour television, kitchenettes with microwaves, cooktop and dining facilities.

All Cabins are non smoking.

Motel Room Information

Our motel rooms offer accommodation, from one to four persons. All linen is provided.

All motel rooms have an ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, colour television, tea, coffee and breakfast making facilities plus microwave.

Family Unit Information

Our family units are spacious one bedroom units, accommodating from one to seven persons. The bedroom has one queen and one single bed. The lounge room has two lounges which convert to four singles or one double bed and two singles. They are made with inner spring mattress's and have been purpose built for both flexibility and comfort. All linen is provided..

All family units have an ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, colour television, basic kitchenettes with microwave and dining facilities.

All Family units are non smoking.

Villa Information

Our villas have two bedrooms, accommodating from one to eight persons. We have two different types of villas available - Standard and Spa Villas.

The master bedroom in the villas has one queen bed and the second bedroom has bunk style beds (sleeping three in the standard and four singles in the spa Villa). In the lounge area there is a sofa which can convert to a double sofa bed. All linen is provided.

All villas have an interconnecting bathroom from both bedrooms, seperate toilet, air conditioning, hairdryer, ironing board, colour television, fully equipped kitchen (with microwave) and dining facilities.

All villas are non smoking.
