Reception

At the Carotel we pride ourselves in providing you with facilities and amenities which will make your stay an enjoyable experience. Our staff at reception are happy to help you with all your requirements and enquiries.

Open seven days a week (excluding Christmas Day).

Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 9.00pm
Saturday - Sunday, 7.00am - 8.00pm

Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am. Late check-in (after reception is closed) is available with our caretaker.

We are fully stocked with the latest tourist guides and maps at reception, and our professional staff will be happy to assist with all your tourist information needs.

Licensed Shop

We have a fully licensed shop at reception, stocking a range of food, beverages, and toiletry requirements.

We also offer a guest safe for your valuables, and have cots, irons and ironing boards available.

We have a dedicated phone line at reception for those who wish to connect their laptops for Internet & e-mail access.

Public STD / IDD telephones are located near reception, and a bus terminus is 50 metres from reception, with buses departing every 20 minutes to the city centre.

Barbeque Area

Our barbeque facilities include gas barbeques and picnic tables, sheltered under trees near our campground and caravan sites.

Swimming Pool

At the Carotel we have a large outdoor salt swimming pool and children's wading pool.

Our pool closes at 9.00pm and is closed during the off season.

Nestled in a rural setting, we have cattle and sheep grazing in the paddocks adjacent to us, and kangaroos regularly feed on the grounds during the early morning and late evening.

We also have ample space for children to ride bikes or simply enjoy the outdoors.

Meal Catering - Dining Hall

We offer fully catered meals for all groups from a minimum of twenty (20) persons to a maximum of 270 in our dining hall. School or sporting groups, reunions, automobile clubs or weddings.

Our chef prepares all meals on site, fresh daily. We are able to offer a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our Chef can cater for special dietary requirements with group/school bookings and our facility is Halal Certified.

Our dining hall provides a relaxed atmosphere for groups, and can be partitioned to allow for separate dining between groups.

Camp Shed

For the budget conscious, or the camping enthusiasts, why not self cater for your group (maximum 120 people) in our camp shed.

Daily hire:    $140.00 incl. GST per day.
Peak times: $190.00 incl. GST per day.
